Mobile IV Hydration & Wellness Infusions
Supportive Care, brought to you.
Sometimes what your body needs most is hydration, rest, symptom support, and a skilled nurse who can come to you.
Through my work as a Registered Nurse with Modwella, I am able to offer mobile IV hydration and wellness infusions to my Metamorphosis clients and members of our surrounding community—in the comfort and privacy of home.
After more than two decades working as a nurse, much of that time in emergency care, one of my goals is to help people access appropriate supportive care before they feel that the emergency room is their only option.
Not every episode of dehydration, nausea, fatigue, migraine, or illness requires an ER visit. When symptoms are appropriate for outpatient treatment, mobile IV therapy can offer another layer of support without the drive, waiting room, bright lights, or disruption of spending hours in the hospital.
At the same time, I take that distinction seriously. IV hydration is not a substitute for emergency medical care. Part of caring for you well is recognizing when treatment at home is reasonable—and when your symptoms need a higher level of evaluation.
Why IV Hydration?
IV therapy delivers fluids directly into the bloodstream, making it a useful option when oral hydration is difficult or when your body needs more rapid fluid replacement.
Depending upon the infusion selected and your individual needs, IV therapy may include sterile saline or lactated Ringer’s solution along with vitamins, minerals, electrolytes, antioxidants, or medications ordered through the Modwella medical team.
This can be especially helpful for people who are struggling to keep up with hydration because of nausea, vomiting, illness, travel, physical exertion, pregnancy-related symptoms, or simply feeling depleted.
Rather than approaching IV therapy as a one-size-fits-all “vitamin boost,” I look at the bigger picture: What are you experiencing? What have you been able to eat and drink? What medications are you taking? What is your medical history? Are there symptoms that require further evaluation? And what kind of support actually makes sense today?

In-Home
Iron Infusions
Through Modwella, I am also able to provide prescribed iron infusions in the comfort of your home for appropriate clients with documented iron deficiency or iron-deficiency anemia.
This can be especially valuable for people who are:
-
Recovering postpartum
-
Experiencing iron deficiency related to heavy menstrual bleeding
-
Unable to tolerate oral iron because of gastrointestinal side effects
-
Not responding adequately to oral supplementation
-
Requiring iron replacement based on laboratory findings and provider evaluation
Rather than traveling to an infusion center and spending hours in a clinical setting, eligible clients can receive their prescribed iron therapy at home with a Registered Nurse providing administration and monitoring.
Iron infusions require appropriate laboratory evaluation, an order or treatment plan, and medical screening through Modwella. They are not the same as a general wellness IV and are used to treat a documented clinical need.

Care in the Comfort of Home
There is something powerful about being able to receive care without having to leave the place where you feel safest.
Instead of sitting in a clinic or emergency department, you can receive your infusion on your own couch, in your bed, or wherever you are most comfortable. You can rest, nurse your baby, watch a movie, read, or simply close your eyes while your infusion runs.
For my pregnant and postpartum clients in particular, I understand that getting to another appointment may mean arranging childcare, loading children into the car, driving while nauseated or exhausted, and spending hours away from home.
When mobile treatment is medically appropriate,
I want care to come to you.
Infusions May Be Used to Support
Depending upon your symptoms, health history, screening, and the treatment selected through Modwella, mobile IV therapy may be used for hydration and supportive care related to:

Migraine or headache support
-
Travel and jet lag

Recovery during demanding seasons of life
Available formulations may contain ingredients such as B-complex vitamins, vitamin B12, vitamin C, magnesium, calcium, zinc, amino acids, glutathione, and other nutrients, depending upon the specific infusion and medical appropriateness.
Certain prescription medications may also be available when indicated and authorized by the Modwella medical team.
What Is Actually in an IV?
Every treatment begins with an appropriate IV fluid base, such as normal saline or lactated Ringer’s solution,
depending upon the formulation.
Different Modwella infusions may then incorporate nutrients such as:
Magnesium
Supports normal nerve and muscle function and may be included in certain formulations when appropriate.
B-Complex Vitamins
A group of vitamins involved in cellular metabolism and numerous normal body processes.
Vitamin B12
Important for red blood cell formation, neurologic function, and normal cellular metabolism.
Vitamin C
An essential nutrient involved in antioxidant activity, collagen production, and immune function.
Calcium
Important for nerve transmission, muscle contraction, and many other physiologic functions.
Glutathione
An antioxidant naturally produced by the body and offered in some wellness formulations.
Amino Acids
Certain formulas may include amino acids used by the body for protein synthesis and other metabolic functions.
Not every ingredient is appropriate for every person.
Your medical history, pregnancy status, medications, allergies, symptoms, and other factors are reviewed before treatment.
How it Works
Appointments are provided through Modwella, where I work as a Registered Nurse delivering mobile infusion care.
Before treatment, appropriate medical screening and provider oversight are completed through Modwella. Your infusion is then administered and monitored by an RN in your home.
Most visits allow you to simply settle in and rest while your treatment runs.
Mobile IV therapy is intended for appropriate, stable clients and is not a replacement for emergency evaluation. If you are experiencing chest pain, severe difficulty breathing, fainting, stroke symptoms, severe bleeding, altered mental status, or another potentially life-threatening condition, call 911 or seek emergency care.

The Metamorphosis Difference
For me, this service is not about convincing everyone that they need an IV.
It is about expanding access to thoughtful, individualized care.
I have spent many years caring for people in emergency departments, and I know there are times when the ER is absolutely the safest and most appropriate place to be. I also know how exhausting and expensive an emergency visit can be when someone ultimately needs fluids, symptom management, monitoring, and rest.
My hope is to help bridge some of that gap.
When your situation is appropriate for mobile care, I can come to you, assess how you are doing, provide your ordered treatment, monitor your response, and allow you to recover in familiar surroundings.
And when something does not belong at home, I will tell you that too.
That combination—access, clinical judgment, individualized care, and knowing when to escalate—is what I want this service to offer my community.
Care That Meets You Where You Are
Metamorphosis has always been about caring for people in a way that respects physiology, autonomy, comfort, and the whole person. Mobile infusion therapy is another extension of that philosophy.
Sometimes healing looks like staying home, getting into your own bed, receiving the support your body needs, and having a nurse come to you.
Through my partnership and employment with Modwella, I’m excited to bring that option to my clients and to our broader community.
A note about all treatments
All IV fluids, medications, nutrients, injections, NAD+ treatments, and iron infusions are provided through Modwella and subject to individual medical screening and provider approval. The exact formulation may vary based on symptoms, medical history, medications, allergies, pregnancy status, laboratory findings, and clinical appropriateness.
As a Registered Nurse working with Modwella, my goal is to bring appropriate supportive care directly to my clients and community whenever it can safely be provided outside the hospital or infusion center — helping people receive care in the comfort of home while also recognizing when symptoms require a higher level of medical evaluation.
